Biography

Born in 1967 in Canton Fribourg, Switzerland, Daniel Pittet is based in Ticino since 2002. Trained in engineering and sustainable architecture, he is essentially a self-taught photographer. He divides his time between photography and international cooperation projects.

Early Photographic Works
His early works explored rural life in Gruyère, the relationship between humans and machines, and the poetic essence of nature. He also collaborated with contemporary choreographers, journalists and scientists, documenting editorial and research projects, particularly in the field of international cooperation in various countries. His work has been featured in several publications and exhibitions in Switzerland, France and China.
